According to the Farmers Almanac, Honeysuckle is native to North America, however, some species were imported from Great Britain, where it is known as “Woodbine.”
Traditionally, Honeysuckle is/was used to treat fevers, cold, asthma, dysentery, and diarrhea. It is still an ingredient in herbal cold remedies.
Plus, it sure smells good.
