The first Green Beans are ready, though! I had to weed the plants first before I could pick them as the crab grass is that thick (even though the grass is entirely intentional!).
So, fresh green beans for supper tonight, cooked with jowl bacon, just like Mom used to make! If only I had a coupla new potatoes to throw in the pot with ’em. Curse Ye, Colorado Potato Beetles!
